Kōnane Board Game

Kōnane is a two-player strategy board game from Hawaiʻi. The game is played on a rectangular board. It begins with eleʻele (black) and kea (white) ili`ili stones filling the board in an alternating pattern. Players then hop over one another's pieces, capturing them similar to checkers but with the strategy similar to chess. The first player unable to capture is the loser; their opponent is the winner.

Each set includes:
10x10 rectangle papamū (game board)
1 bag 52 eleʻele (black) ili`ili
1 bag 52 kea (white) ili`ili
Instruction sheet

Note: each papamū (game board) is hand crafted and painted and so they will vary. Some stains are lighter, some are darker.
